| | I guess... I got my learner's permit. I also got a recorder for the Ren Faire. I'm learning that, now. It's pretty fun. The Faire this year will hopefully be better than last year. We're way more organized already, and we've hardly done anything.
Except I don't know if we're going to have enough people. We've got Jacki this year, maybe. No Ben. Clarinda is on her own. So is Christine. We have Gwen for some of the time, but probably not Bill. Nils, hopefully. Me, my mom, and Ed, of course. See, we have to have four people at the site at all times. Even if me n' my family never took any breaks, it still wouldn't be enough. We really need a guitarist. So if you know anyone who plays acoustic guitar and would be willing to sit for eleven hours straight for three days playing, let me know. They also need to be willing to wear a silly costume.
My mom will probably start playing more guitar if she can, and we might have Connor for a little while...he plays some guitar. What's really hurting us is the loss of Ben and Christine. They were pretty cool. Ben can't come at all, and Christine is probably mad because we were late paying her.
Anyhoo. I'm excited, obviously. It's only April, but I want to be reallly organized this year. If my mom isn't going to do it, I will. The Faire is under new management and we really need to make a good impression.
That's basically the only thing that's been on my mind lately. This year I'm going to get my hair braided, which is the main reason that I've been growing my hair out since I was eight. Then I think I might cut it short. I mean, I know I'll miss my long hair a lot, but I think short hair would be fun for a while. :/ We'll see how I feel after the Faire.
